New Years Reso's

I can't remember any new years resolutions that I've made, apart from the one i say every year- GET FIT!.
Now although i did join a gym,although part way through the year and i have managed to get fitter and stronger, i think the main thing that i meant when i made that resolution was to get skinny-er.
Why is it that, although we are working towards bringing healthier looking models back to the pages of our magazines and runways; we are still obsessed with the totally unrealistic image of  them?
So, here are some pictures which will hopefully inspire, behold a proper woman's body.

Two out of the three pictures were used to promote natural bodies.
Hopefully we can start trying a little harder to encourage a healthy attitude when it comes to our bodies.

I'm really into the whole tacky/1990's dressing.
Denim jackets in the "wrong" colour, sheer tops in horrible cuts and colours and midriff showing with no bra.
It's so funny how shit like that can influence you. Even if it looks wrong, it looks right and feels right, even more so than wearing some $2000 outfit by some hugely popular designer.

Op-shopping is my friend

God i love op-shopping, i could do it every day for most of my life if i could. Went through two today and found some great buys, including a $4 duffel coat, i have been searching for ages. Fits just like i want it to, a bit looser, the sleeves are shorter,just amazing and it's navy blue,always good! Oh and that top picture is me with my new hat on as well, which my brother brought for me on the weekend,for a late birthday present. We also picked up the chair I'm sitting on from the side of the road, such a great chair, kind of so ugly it's cool....
The shoes i brought, old Diana Ferrari sand shoes, sooo cute, and they are,wait for it......SAND coloured!Also brought this cute little daisy top, just a nice,easy flowy sort of top to wear with jeans and a jacket.

Hats..if you like.

I never thought hats would suit me,therefore never like them.Apart from when they were sitting on VERY pretty models. :P.But I've found a hat that suits me; THE CLOCHE!!!!, yayyy, they are a rounded shape,therefore fitting massive head (like mine,hahha).so here are a few amazing pictures of them, and my advice, try something even if you think it won't suit you. You never know till you try.

Sing and dance?

Just started watching GLEE, i know, a little late on the uptake, but never thought i would be into it. You never know till you try! So, absolutely in love with it already (two episodes in,slow computer) and how cute are Matthew Morrison (Kurt Hummel) and Cory Monteith (Finn Hudson),woo hooo ;D
Also the outfits that Jayma Mays (Emma) wears are so cute, kind of 1970's secretary with a modern twist.

Looking for something
